There is no month in the whole year, in which naturewears a more beautiful earance than in themonth of August! Spring has many beauties,and Mayis a fresh and blooming month, but the charms ofthis time of year are enhanced by their contrastwith the winter season.August has no suchadvantage. It es when we remember nothingbut clear skies, green fields and sweet *** ellingflowers when the recollection of snow, and ice, and bleak winds, has faded from our minds aspletely as they he diseared from the earth and yet what a pleasant time it is!Orchards and corn-fields ring with the hum of labour; trees bend beneath the thick clustersofripe fruit, which bows their branches to the ground; and the corn, piled in graceful shees, orwing inevery light breath that sweeps above it, as if it wooed the sickle, tinges thelandscape with a golden hue. Amellow softness ears to hang over the whole earth; theinfluence of the season seems to extend itself to the every wagon, whose slow motion acrossthe well-reaped field, is perceptible only to the eye,

but strikes with no harsh sound upon the ear.

In all this Cuban business there is one man standsout on the horizon of my memory like Mars atperihelion.

When war broke out between Spain and the UnitedStates, it was very necessary to municatequickly with the leader of the Insurgents. Garcia wassomewhere in the mountain fastnesses of Cuba - noone knew where.No mail or telegraph message could reach him. The President must secure hiscooperation, and quickly. Whatto do?

Some said to the President, “There’s a fellow by the name of Rowan who will find Garcia for you,if anybody can.”

Rowan was sent for and given a letter to be delivered to Garcia. How the “fellow by the name ofRowan” took the letter, sealed it up in an oilskin pouch, stred it over his heart, in four dayslanded by nightoff the coast of Cuba from an open boat, diseared into the jungle, and inthree weeks came out on the other side of the Island, hing trersed a hostile country onfoot and delivered his letter to Garcia - are things I he no special desire now to tell in detail.The point that I wish to make is this: McKinley ge Rowan a letter to be delivered to Garcia;Rowan took the letter and did not ask, “Where is he at?”

By the Eternal! There is a man whose form should be cast in deathless bronze and the statueplaced in every college of the land. It is not book learning young men need, nor instructionabout this and that, but a stiffening of the vertebrae which will cause them to be loyal to atrust, to act promptly, concentrate their energies: do the thing - “Carry a message to Garcia.”

General Garcia is dead now, but there are other Garcias. No man who has endeored to carryout an enterprise where many hands were needed, but has been well nigh alled at times bythe imbecility of the erage man -the inability or unwillingness to concentrate on a thingand do it.

Slipshod assistance, foolish inattention, dowdy indifference, and half hearted work seem therule; and no man succeeds, unless by hook or crook or threat he forces or bribes other men toassist him; or mayhap, God in His goodness performs a miracle, and sends him an Angel ofLight for an assistant.

transported with this idea,she could not forbear acting with her head the thought that passed in her mind,when down came the can of milk!and all her imaginary hiness vanished in a moment.

it rains and the wind is never weary;

my though still cling to the moldering past,

but the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,

and the days are dark and dreary.

be still,sad heart!and cease repining;

behind the clouds is the sun still shining;

thy fate is the common fate of all,

into each life some rain must fall,

some days must be dark and dreary.

天冷、阴暗、沉闷;

下着雨,风也刮个不停;

我的生活寒冷、阴郁、沉闷;

下着雨,风也刮个不停;

安静吧,忧伤的心!别再悔恨;

乌云后面太阳依然辉煌灿烂;

 Too many people think of hiness as the ultimate goal of life. But, if you?re waiting for hiness to arrive then it?s likely that it never will!

 You?re always wanting something more, always looking forward to a time when you?ll be ?hy?. And, if you fall into this trap, you?ll never reach that goal. Hiness should not be your life?s goal, it should be your life! The only time to be hy is right now! It?s state of mind, not a set of accomplishments or the accumulation of material things. You must accept that life will always he challenges and things will not always go your way.

 Instead of feeling disointed when things don?t work out the way you?d hoped, feel grateful for the experience. Instead of dreaming of a brighter, hier, richer tomorrow, make today as wonderful as you can.

 Hiness is a conscious decision and that I can make it right now. Thinking of the future and hing aspirations is essential to leading a hy and fulfilled life. The trick is not to let thoughts of the future overshadow your enjoyment of the present and the reciation of the things and people you he in your life right now!

 There is no way to hiness: hiness is the way!

 Stop waiting for hiness to arrive and simply decide to be hy! It?s not some great goal or destination, it?s a journey and a way of life.

 A woman baked chapatti for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra chapatti on the window sill. Every day, a hunchback came and took away the chapatti. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: ?The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!?

 The woman felt irritated. ?Not a word of gratitude,? she said to herself Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean? One day, she decided to do away with him. She added poison to the chapatti she prepared for him!

 As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. ?What is this I am doing? she said. Immediately, she threw the chapatti into the fire, prepared another one. As usual, the hunchback came, picked up the chapatti and muttered the words: ?The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!?

 Every day, as the woman placed the chapatti on the window sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune.

 That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway. He was hungry and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, ?Mom, it?s a miracle I?m here. While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would he died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. He was kind enough to give me a whole chapatti. He said, ?Your need is greater than mine!?

 She remembered the poisoned chapatti that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would he been eaten by her own son!

 It was then that she realized the significance of the words: ?The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!? Do good and don?t ever stop doing good, even if it is not reciated at that time.

 "I worked as a bartender/waitress at a bar inside an upscale health-food grocery store (it's a real thing, I promise). Most of our clientele was well-off retirees and 30-something recently divorced men hoping to get a date with someone coming in after a yoga class. Generally a nice group of customers, but definitely rich, uptight people. Forgetting to bring salt to some might be a huge offense, but automatically bringing it causes others to give you a lecture about sodium intake. It was a difficult balancing act.

 "It was St. Patrick's Day. There was also a March Madness game with the local university team playing and we were short-staffed. Needless to say, it was an insane evening with me rushing around serving corned beef and cabbage, pouring Guinness, and making sure no one was becoming belligerent.

 "For some reason, the bar supervisor always liked to he food specials on display for people to see. While I get the concept, it generally just caused us to get mean looks when we told people they probably shouldn't eat it, as it wasn't a sample and had been sitting out for hours. Since it was St. Patrick's Day, we had a giant display of the corned beef and cabbage dinner special, complete with gry, potatoes, and Irish beer bread.

 "As the night was beginning to slow down, I had an older couple sit at the only open seats -- adjacent to our food displays. I was clearing tables and leaned over to let them know I'd be right with them, and a plate slid off the mountain of dishes I was carrying, plopping right into the food display. The 12-hour-old gry and potatoes somehow still had some fluidity to them, and flew up, then dropped? right into the man's lap.

 "I was horrified and apologizing profusely while trying to set down the mountain of dishes. The man looked up and me and said, 'I just he one thing to tell you.' He slowly leaned in -- at which point I was thinking he was about to spit in my face -- and he said, 'I don't he to fart anymore, you scared it out of me.'

 "It was the laugh I needed that night, and he wouldn't even let me give him a free beer as an apology." -- Belinda Farragut

?------Belinda Farragut

I don't know what I do now is right, those are wrong, and when I finally die then I know these. So what I can do now is to try to do everything well, and then wait to die .Sometimes I can be very hy to talk to everyone, can be very presumptuous, but no one knows, it is but very deliberatelycamouflage, camouflage; I can make him very hy very hy, but couldn't find the source of hiness, just giggle.

 Seven Secrets to a Great Life

 A great life doesn't hen by accident. A great life is the result of allocating your time, energy, thoughts, and hard work towards what you want your life to be.? Stop setting yourself up for stress and failure, and start setting up your life to support success and ease. A great life is the result of using the 24/7 you get in a creative and thoughtful way, instead of just what comes next. Customize these " secrets" to fit your own needs and style, and start creating your own great life today!

 1. S—Simplify. A great life is the result of simplifying your life. People often misinterpret what simplify means. It's not a way to remove work from your life. When you focus on simplifying your life, you free up energy and time for the work that you enjoy and the purpose for which you are here. In order to create a great life, you will he to make room for it in yours first.

 2. E—Effort. A great life is the result of your best effort. Creating a great life requires that you make some adjustments.

 4. R—Reserves. A great life is the result of hing reserves—reserves of things, time, space, energy, money. With reserves, you acquire far more than you need-not 6 months living expenses, but 5 years worth; not 15 minutes of free time, 1 day. Reserves are important because they reduce the fear of consequences, and that allows you to make decisions based on what you really want instead of what the fear decides for you.

 5. E—Eliminate distractions. A great life is the result of eliminating distractions. Up to 75% of your mental energy can be tied up in things that draining and distracting you. Eliminating distractions can be a difficult concept to many people, since they hen't really considered that there is another way to live. Look around at someone's life you admire. What do they do that you would like to incorporate into your own life ? Ask them how they did it. Find ways to free up mental energy for things that are more important to you.

 6. T—Thoughts. A great life is the result of controlling your thoughts so that you accept and allow for the possibility that it actually can hen to you! belief in the outcome will directly dictate how successful you are. Motivated people he specific goals and look for ways to achieve them. Believing there is a solution to the same old problems you encounter year after year is vitally important creating a life that you love.

 7. S—Start. A great life is the result of starting. There's the old saying everyone's familiar with “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” In order to even move from the couch to the refrigerator, you he to start. There’s no better time to start than today. Don't wait for a raise, or until the kids get older or the weather is better. Today, right now, is the right day to start to take a step in the direction of your heart's desires. It's what you do TODAY that will make a difference in your life tomorrow.

 A man and his girlfriend were married. It was a large celebration.

 All of their friends and family came to see the lovely ceremony and to partake of the festivities and celebrations. All had a wonderful time.

 The bride was gorgeous in her white wedding gown and the groom was very dashing in his blacktuxedo. Everyone could tell that the love they had for each other was true.

 A few months later, the wife came to the husband with a proposal,¨I read in a magazine,a while ago, about how we can strengthen our marriage," she offered. "Each of us will write a list of the things that we find a bit annoying with the other person. Then, we can talk about how we can fix them together and make our lives hier together."

 The husband agreed. So each of them went to a separate room in the house and thought of the things that annoyed them about the other. They thought about this question for the rest of the day and wrote down what they came up with.

 The next morning, at the breakfast table, they decided that they would go over their lists.

 ¨I'II start," offered the wife. She took out her list. It had many items on it,enough to fill 3 pages. In fact, as she started reading the list of the little annoyances, she noticed that tears were starting to ear in her husband's eyes.

 ”What's wrong?" she asked. "Nothing," the husband replied, "keep reading your list."

 The wife continued to read until she had read all three pages to her husband. She neatly placed her list on the table and folded her hands over the top ofit.

 ¨Now, you read your list and then we'II talk about the things on both of our lists," she said hily.

 Quietly the husband stated,¨I don't he anything on my list.I think that you are perfect the way that you are.I don't want you to change anything for me. You are lovely and wonderful and l wouldn't want to try and change anything about you."

 The wife, touched by his honesty and the depth of his love for her and his acceptance of her,tumed her head and wept.

 In life, there are enough times when we are disointed, depressed and annoyed. We don't reallyhe to go looking for them. We he a wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise.

 Why waste time in this world looking for the bad, disointing or annoying when we can lookaround us, and see the wondrous things before us?

Don't work for money

The world is filled with smart, talented, educated and gifted people. We meet them every day.A few days ago, my car was not running well.I pulled it into a garage, and the young mechanic had it fixed in just a few minutes. He knew what was wrong by simply listening to the engine. I was amazed. The sad truth is,great talent is not enough.

I am constantly shocked at how little talented people earn.I heard the other day that less than 5 percent of Americans earn more than $100,000 a year.Abusiness consultant who specializes inl the medical trade was telling me how many doctors, dentists and chiropractors2 struggle financially.

All this time,I thought that when they graduated, the dollars would pour in. It was this business consultant who ge me the phrase,¨They are one skill away from great wealth.”What this phrase means is that most people need only to learn and master one more skill and their income would jump exponentially3.

I he mentioned before that financial intelligence is a synergy4 0f accounting, investing, marketing and law. Combine those four technical skills and making money with money is easier. When it comes to money, the only skill most people know is to work hard.

When I graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in 1969, my educated dad was hy. Standard Oil of California had hired me for its oil-tanker fleet.I had a great career ahead of me, yet I resigned5 after six months with the company and joined the Marine Corps to learn how to fly. My educated dad was devastated. Rich dad congratulated me.

Job security meant everything to my educated dad. Learning meant everything to my rich dad Educated dad thought l went to school to learn to be a ship's officer. Rich dad knew that l went to school to study international trade.

So as a student,I made cargo runs, nigating6 large freighters7, oil tankers and passenger ships to the Far East and the South Pacific. While most of my classmates, including Mike, were partying at their fraternity8 houses,1 was studying trade, people and cultures in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Korea and the Philippines.I also was partying, but it was not in any frat house.I grew up rapidly.

There is an old cliche that goes, "Job is an acronym9 for 'Just Over Broke."' And unfortunately,1 would say that the saying lies to millions of people. Because school does not think financial intelligence is intelligence, most workers "live within their means l0." They work and they pay the bills. Instead I recommend to young people to seek work for what they will learn,more than what they will earn.

Look down the road at what skills they want to acquire before choosing a specific profession and before getting tred in the "Rat Racell". Once people are tred in the lifelong process of bill paying, they become like those little hamsters12 running around in those little metal wheels. Their little furry legs are spinning furiously, the wheel is turning furiously, but come tomorrow morning, they'II still be in the same cage: great job.

When I ask the classes I teach, "How many of you can cook a better hamburger than McDonald's?"almost all the students raise their hands.I then ask, “So if most of you can cook a better hamburger, how come McDonald's makes more money than you?"

The answer is obvious: McDonald's is excellent at business systems. The reason so many talented people are poor is because they focus on building a better hamburger and know little or nothing about business systems.

The world is filled with talented poor people. All too often, they're poor or struggle financially or earn less than they are capable of, not because of what they know but because of what they do not know. They focus on perfecting their skills at building a better hamburger rather than the skills of selling and delivering the hamburger.

 It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

 But in a larger sense we cannot dedicate-we cannot consecrate-we cannot hallow-this ground.

 The bre men, living and dead, who struggled here, he consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract.

 The world will little note, nor long remember, what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.

 It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here he thus far so nobly advanced.

 It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us:

 that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they ge the last full measure of devotion;

 这些光荣过世的先烈们曾为国家大业奉献到底,而我们则应秉承他们的奉献精神,更加全力以赴;

 that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not he died in vain;

 我们决意不计这些先烈白白牺牲;

 that this nation, under God, shall he a new birth of freedom;

 and that of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

 Life is full of miracles. They surround us every day. One of these miracles hened to me recently. I was filling my car?s tank at a local gas station. It was only 10 A.M. but I already felt tired. It was a cloudy, gloomy and rainy day and I hadn?t slept well the night before. After I paid for the gas I turned my car towards the main road. I looked right and left then my brain sent the signal for my foot to push on the gas pedal but nothing hened. Shocked, I shook my head to clear it and gazed down at my foot.

 Just as I did, though, a semi-truck roared past my car doing 60 mph. My weary, bleary eyes hadn?t seen it when I had looked just 2 seconds earlier. If I had been pulling out when I should he been my little green car would he been smashed and I would he most likely been killed. I sat there for a long time quietly thanking God for sparing my life before pulling out on the road and heading home. This time both my brain and foot worked perfectly.

 As I looked back on that moment later I still couldn?t understand it. Did God prevent my brain?s signal from reaching my foot? Did an angel grab my toes to keep them from pressing on the gas? One question kept coming back into my mind as well: why? Why did I get this miracle? Why did God spare my life this day? Finally, I felt the answer forming deep within my heart and mind. I heard the words coming from my soul saying: ?You still he more to do. Your work is not done yet!?

 The Coffee Place

 I used to believe courtesy was a thing of the past. Very seldom he I encountered a courteous human being in this modern era of the so called Generation X.

 Recently, I had to change my thinking, when I came face to face with just such a human being. I had gone to a hening coffee place, with two of my grown up daughters. The place was crowded with the usual loud crowd and we had to climb a steep flight of stairs in order to find an empty table. After enjoying coffee and snacks, we were at the steep descent down the stairs, where the narrow space made climbing down only possible in a single file, with hardly any space for another person to either climb up or come down.

 Just as I was in the middle of my descent, a gentleman entered the main entrance of the restaurant which was right in front of the staircase. I was sure I would be pushed roughly by this man who will want to go up in a hurry. I kept coming down as fast as I could, holding on to the bannister, in lieu of my advanced years. My agile daughters were already down, looking up at me worriedly, hoping I would reach them before the stranger started up the stairs, knowing I was a nervous sort.

 Nearly reaching them, I noticed the man still standing near the door. I reached my daughters and passed the stranger at the entrance door which he kept holding open. I looked back thinking he was still at the door, deciding whether to go in or find another less crowded place. I saw him going up the stairs, two at a time. I told my daughters about it and all three of us felt bad that we did not even thank the courteous gentleman who was actually holding the door open for us ladies to pass through before going up.

 We lauded his chivalry for both, waiting for us to come down before going up himself and also holding the main entrance door open for us to go out. Such well mannered people are hard to find these days, when shoving, jostling and pushing is very common in our advanced but aggressive society. Till date, I remember this gentleman and pray to God to make more human beings like him.

 It is physically impossible for a well-educated intellectual, or bre man to make money the chief object① of his thoughts; as physically impossible as it is for him to make his dinner the principal object of them.

 All healthy people like their dinner, but their dinner is not the mainobject of their lives. So all healthy-minded people like making money--ought to like it and to enjoy the sensation② of winning; but the main object of their lives is not money; it is something better than money.

 A good soldier, for instance③, mainly wishes to do his fighting well. He is glad of his pay--very properly so --and justly grumbles④ when you keep him ten months without it; still, his main notion⑤ of life is to win battles, not to be paid for winning them.

 So too of doctors. They like fees no dou--ought to like them; yet the entire object of their lives is not fees. They, on the whole desire to cure the sick, would rather cure their patients and lose their fee than kill them and get it. And so with all other bre and rightly trained men: their work is first, their fee is second, very important always, but still second.

 But in every nation, there is a vast class of people who are cowardly⑥, and more or less stupid. And with these people, just as certainly the fee is first and the work second, as with bre people the work is first and the fee second.

 And this is no small distinction⑦. It is the whole distinction in a man. You cannot serve two masters; you must serve one or the other. If your work is first with you, and your fee is second, work is your master.

 Observe, then, all wise work is mainly threefold⑧ in character. It is honest, useful, and cheerful. I hardly know anything more strange than that you recognize honesty in play, and do not in work.

 In your lightest games you he always someone to see what you call "fair play". In boxing you must hit fair; in racing, start fair. Your watchword is fair play; your hatred, foul play. Did it ever strike you that you wanted another watchword⑨ also, fair work, and another hatred also, foul⑩ work?

 Mother & Child

 It was Christmas 1961. I was teaching in a small town in Ohio where my twenty-seven third graders eagerly anticipated the great day of gifts giving.

 A tree covered with tinsel and gaudy paper chains graced one corner. In another rested a manger scene produced from cardboard and poster paints by chubby, and sometimes grubby, hands. Someone had brought a doll and placed it on the straw in the cardboard box that served as the manger. It didn't matter that you could pull a string and hear the blue-eyed, golden-haired dolly say, "My name is Susie." "But Jesus was a boy baby!" one of the boys proclaimed. Nonetheless, Susie stayed.

 Each day the children produced some new wonder -- strings of popcorn, hand-made trinkets, and German bells made from wallpaper samples, which we hung from the ceiling. Through it all she remained aloof, watching from afar, seemingly miles away. I wondered what would hen to this quiet child, once so hy, now so suddenly withdrawn. I hoped the festivities would eal to her. But nothing did. We made cards and gifts for mothers and dads, for sisters and brothers, for grandparents, and for each other. At home the students made the popular fried marbles and vied with one another to bring in the prettiest ones. " You put them in a hot frying pan, Teacher. And you let them get real hot, and then you watch what hens inside. But you don't fry them too long or they break."So, as my gift to them, I made each of my students a little pouch for carrying their fried marbles. And I knew they had each made something for me: bookmarks carefully cut, colored, and sometimes pasted together; cards and special drawings; liquid embroidery doilies, hand-fringed, of course.

 The day of gift-giving finally came. We oohed and aahed over our handiwork as the presents were exchanged. Through it all, she sat quietly watching. I had made a special pouch for her, red and green with white lace. I wanted very much to see her smile. She opened the package so slowly and carefully. I waited but she turned away. I had not penetrated the wall of isolation she had built around herself.

 After school the children left in little groups, chattering about the great day yet to come when long-hoped-for two-wheelers and bright sleds would ear beside their trees at home. She lingered, watching them bundle up and go out the door. I sat down in a child-sized chair to catch my breath, hardly aware of what was hening, when she came to me with outstretched hands, bearing a small white box, unwred and slightly soiled, as though it had been held many times by unwashed, childish hands. She said nothing. "For me?" I asked with a weak smile. She said not a word, but nodded her head. I took the box and gingerly opened it. There inside, glistening green, a fried marble hung from a golden chain. Then I looked into that elderly eight-year-old face and saw the question in her dark brown eyes. In a flash I knew -- she had made it for her mother, a mother she would never see again, a mother who would never hold her or brush her hair or share a funny story, a mother who would never again hear her childish joys or sorrows. A mother who had taken her own life just three weeks before.

 I held out the chain. She took it in both her hands, reached forward, and secured the simple clasp at the back of my neck. She stepped back then as if to see that all was well. I looked down at the shiny piece of glass and the tarnished golden chain, then back at the giver. I meant it when I whispered," Oh, Maria, it is so beautiful. She would he loved it."Neither of us could stop the tears. She stumbled into my arms and we wept together. And for that brief moment I became her mother, for she had given me the greatest gift of all: herself.

By Patricia A. Habada

 FAMILY

 FAMILY= (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER, (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

 A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

 Daddy, may I ask you a question?

 Yeah sure, what is it? replied the man.

 Daddy, how much do you make an hour?

 That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing? the man said angrily. I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?

 pleaded the little boy.

 If you must know, I make $20 an hour.

 Oh, the little boy replied, with his head down. Looking up, he said, Daddy, may I please borrow $10?

 The father was furious, If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behior.

 The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10 and he really didn't ask for money very often.

 The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

 Are you asleep, son? He asked.

 No daddy, I'm awake, replied the boy.

 I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier, said the man, It's been a long day and I took out my aggration on you. Here's the $10you asked for.

 The little boy sat straight up, smiling. Oh, thank you daddy! He yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at his father.

 Why do you want more money if you already he some? the father grumbled.

 Because I didn't he enough, but now I do, the little boy replied. Daddy, I he $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to he dinner with you.

1、People always say that we are lacking of the eyes of realizing the beauty in life. I can't agree with it anymore. Last week, I woke up very early in the morning, so I decided to take a walk. The street was very quiet and there were many old people dancing in the square. Without many cars, I realized the city looked so clean and beautiful. Some coffee shops decorates so well, which attrated my eyes. The city was coverd by the green trees, which made it a green city. I liked this feeling so much. At this moment, I found the city was so lovely, I just ingored its beauty usually.

2、Positive thinking. I’m obviously a big proponent of positive thinking as the best way to achieve your goals, but it turns out that it can lead to hiness too. Optimism and self-esteem are some of the best indicators of people who lead hy lives. Hy people feel empowered, in control of their lives, and he a positive outlook on life. Action steps: Make positive thinking a habit. In fact, this should be one of the first habits you develop. Get into the habit of squashing all negative thoughts and replacing them with positive ones. Instead of “I can’t” think“I can”. It may sound corny, but it has worked for me, every time.

"We are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite---"

I do not know who wrote those words,but I he always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it.We can take the mysterious,hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine,just like a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone.

We are all in the position of the farmer.If we plant a good seed,we reap a good harvest.If our seed is poor and full of weeds,we reap a useless crop.If we plant nothing at all,we harvest nothing at all.

I want the future to be better than the past.I don't want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled.We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the reminder of our lives.

The past is gone and static.Nothing we can do will change it.The future is before us and dynamic.Everything we do will effect it.Each day will brings with it new frontiers,in our homes and in our businesses,if we will only recognize them.We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeor.
